Vintage Silver Plated Teaspoons!
We love all things transferred. Did you know that you can transfer an image from your favorite magazine onto paper, metal, or wood? Or that you can take any photo to your local copy shop and get a "color copy" (laser copy) and transfer it onto most anything? Even glass. Chris and I have been scrounging around garage sales, flea markets, and antique malls looking for silver spoons that we could hammer flat and offer to you for your art making. Hammering the spoons flat is a job that takes a while and is really boring - that's why we gave that job to dear husband. Now they are ready for you to get creative with. Metal stamping is always good - and as I said before we love transfers on metal. Claudine Hellmuth Studio Muti Medium works great - really easy to use and drys fast. Just brush a dab onto the front of your laser image, burnish face down onto the spoon and let dry for about 1 hour. Dampen the image with a little water - not a lot! - and begin rolling off the paper. Your photo will magically appear. Oh and that little bulb bottle - sweet as can be!
