Our first love is nature rubber stamps - our next first love is making art with them. How about you? With spring just around the corner (wishing and hoping) the next best thing to actually digging in the dirt is digging in my studio for my other nature and bird rubber stamps to mix in with the new ones. After a few hours mission accompolished. Ok here is what I love about the new stamps - the birds are very sketchy and are perfect for coloring in. But if you are not into that, spritz some dictionary paper with our Artisan Ink, let your paper dry for a while and then stamp with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink. Take a look:
Not the best stamping job but as always time is of the essence - did a little scribble stenciling on painted dictionary paper with our word stencils, glued it all down with uhu glue - and there you have it. A quick stamped collage like this would make a cool greeting card for an art friend. Don't bother sending it to someone that doesn't do art because they won't get it. They will think you spilled your ink and were trying not to waste your paper. Really - been there-done that.
New Nature and Bird Rubber Stamps!
Oh, in case you were wondering - the enchant is scribbled with the Scribe All Pencils that we have at the store and on the web, they work great on everything.
Talk to you later - maybe tomorrow because Chris is working on a new Art Swap and should have all of the details worked out tomorrow or Sat.
- be true - Chris & Sharon
