We love mica because you can do so much with it. The sepia toned transparency of the mica creates a soft glow on every photo that you put between the layers. Sand the mica a little bit for a heavenly cloudy effect. No matter what you do, it's beautiful. Take a look at this mica booklace that Chris made for a workshop.
When the black crows fly in you know that Halloween Creating is right around the corner, and this year is going to be a doozie. New rubber stamps are in the making, papers are ordered, charms are on the way, and we are at the ready with ink and scissors!
Plus here is a little of what's going on at the store. Most of you know our summer hours are Thur. Fri. Sat. 10am-5pm. We are not laying (lying?) around drinking ice cold margaritas in our swim suits, but we are hard at work ( if that is what you could call it) putting together our next Wonderful Weekend, working on Christmas, Halloween, and even tossing around ideas for Valentine 2012. Our summer is going great and we are grateful for all of you that order on our website 24/7 and visit the store on Thurs. Fri. and Sat. Thank you for letting us give these hours a try. So far-very good!
Don't forget to open your email tomorrow morning-you could be the winner of the Boxful of Beauty!

Chris & Sharon,
Love your store - wish I lived closer. Just sent in an order today for some nifty stuff! Next time we're visiting our cousin in St. Louis you can bet I'll stop by. I did stop by your booth at Stamp Away in Cincinnati and bought stuff. Your store is so unique and fun to visit!!

Red Lead is in my top three online art shops that I am just wild about. I have bought on it several times and would buy more if I had not become unemployed during this tought time that many are having right now. I am always inspired to create and think outside the box when I get your newsletter in my box or visit you blog. Thanks for doing want u do : ).
