So yesterday-Sunday-was spent at the store getting ready for Christmas. We dug around in the basement, looked at all of the trees we have collected through out the years and decided this year- no trees. But what? You all know a few years back we were buying every odd chair in sight, this year has been the "year of odd ball lamps." We decided to light up our window with snowflakes, tags, cards, all things Christmas dangling from the stripped lampshades. My first reaction was to edge them with red ball fringe, but I had a "moment." I dug out my Martha Fringe Scissors, and trimmed the lamps with paper fringe tied on with festive ribbons. For now they are begging for holiday trims, and that will happen some time today.
Not the best photos, but it was getting late, and we were getting tired!
More photos of Holidays-Red Lead Style tomorrow!

Love, love, LOVE the lamps! Very anthropologie-esque!
I just LOVE the lamp (near the front of the store) you hung Christmas tags on and then chandelier crystals...I believe I shall make one of my own! You gals are da bomb!
