Have you heard about Pocket Letters? Janette Lane is the creator of Pocket Letters. This is a fun new way to connect with old friends and new! Of course we put the Red Lead spin on Pocket Letters by including one of our favorite things to make - Artist Trading Cards. Click over to Janettes blog for tons of Pocket Letter inspiration.
Why we love the Pocket Letter concept by Janette - you start with a 9 pocket clear page protector - and get this - the size of the pockets are the exact same size as Artist Trading Cards. Easy Peasy! You fill up the pockets, fold the page protector in thirds, and mail your letter in a #10 business envelope. Ingenious!
So are you ready to play? We sure are!
The cost for the swap is $5.00 - USA and International. After you sign up on our website - Sign Up Here! - we will mail you one 9 pocket clear page protector and complete instructions.
You make one Pocket Letter and you will receive one completed Pocket Letter. 3 pockets must be Artist Trading Cards using a Red Lead rubber stamp, stencil, or collage images. The theme for this swap is Seaside Summer. The remaining 6 pockets are totally what you want to fill them with - but remember the Pocket Letter gets folded and inserted in a envelope so it is best to not put anything too thick in the pockets. See our Art Swap Guide for ideas and inspiration.
Mail your completed Pocket Letter postmarked no later than Aug. 15, 2015 to: Red Lead - 27 N. Gore Ave. St. Louis, Mo. 63119.
We will swap out the Pocket Letters and mail them back to you! See we told you - Easy Peasy! Hope to see you at the Art Swap! And thanks for creating Pocket Letters Janette!
