And the celebration continues - just in case you haven't heard - we are celebrating 23 years of creativity - and still loving every minute of it with coffee and cupcakes most every day! On the spur of the moment we sat down with our stencils and stamps and went to work making our Celebration Banner. Here are the steps for making the stamped and stenciled dress.
Paint both sides of the chipboard dress with a base coat of white acrylic paint. Painting both sides of the chipboard prevents warping - let the paint dry! Paint the dress with a mix of pink, magenta, and white acrylic paint. Let the paint dry. Place the Triangles Stencil on top of the dress as shown - secure the stencil with removable tape. Colorize the dress with our Corsage Ink Pad.
Doodle around each triangle with our favorite Sharpie White Pen and our new love - the Pitt Artist Pen! Place our Polka Dot Stencil on the dress as shown, secure with removable tape and colorize with the Carbon Black Ink Pad.
Now the real fun begins - add white dots with the white pen over the black polka dots. Cut out vintage dictionary paper in triangles and collage in the center of the triangles. Embellish with ribbons, buttons, label rubber stamps, and cupcakes! Attach your embellishments with a new favorite find - colored jump rings. Don't forget to come celebrate with us this Sat.
