It's always a good day when I can spend a few hours creating in the studio. Yesterday I made an awesome discovery with our Artisan Inks. Lately I have been embossing most of my stamping with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder.
Here is a mini step by step of Halloween Greetings.
We got in these small wood art boards and I think they are the greatest for papering and painting. Here is how I started my mini hanger. I glued a paper from our Halloween Paper Pack on the art board with our all time favorite Uhu glue. Overpaint with antique white acrylic paint - let some of the paper show through the paint. Stamp with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink - I used our Crackle Stamp but this rubber stamp would work great too.
Paint the chipboard tree with antique white acrylic paint. Let the paint dry for an hour. Stamp with the Ranger Archival Ink and emboss with the Ranger Clear Embossing Powder. I stamped with Scary Stories but this stamp would work too. Then I brushed on our Sunset Artisan Ink and sprinkled on the embossing powder. Worked like a charm! The Halloween Greetings stamp is here, and the tickets are here. One little tip - don't use too much embossing powder!
