Old Photos + Shrink Plastic = Red Lead

You all know that Chris has been shrinking everything in sight, now Sheila has the bug. ( I hope I don't catch it because I have Christmas Cards to make)

Here is how she made her necklace:

Print out your photo on the Ink Jet Shrink Plastic. Her original photo was about 2" x 3". It shrank to about 1-1/2" x 2". Don't forget to punch the hole for your jump ring before shrinking!

Stamp a favorite Red Lead word stamp on paper, punch out with a circle punch, and glue to a Crystal Clear Dome with our all time favorite Uhu Glue.

What with the holidays just around the corner, not only are these easy to make, but a very easy way to personalize with photos for everyone on your list.

Beautiful, ladies! I don't know, Sharon a little Christmas design on one of those as a charm on your card would be pretty cool. Just sayin.... I think you'll catch the bug pretty quickly. :)

I love Red Lead PaperWorks and wanted to share this gem of a store with you During my most recent visit, Chris was in the studio teaching visitors to create vintage-style Valentine cards! There was freshly brewed Starbucks, and Sharon's famous homemade banana-walnut-chocolate cookies! Yum! The store itself is a visual delight...like a lovely collage in itself! Besides all these visual delights, Chris and Sharon frequently offer creative workshops, too. My favorite was Chris' Metal Stamping Workshop where I learned a ton!
