You can make these Halloween Mini Books in one sitting. Cover a small book with Halloween paper. We always use a Uhu Glue Stick for this type of paper art because your paper will stay flat and never curl. An added advantage is that the Uhu does not dry immediately, so you have a few minutes to reposition your images if you want to change your collage.
Stamp our Ravens Statement stamp on vintage dictionary paper. Cut them out any old way that pleases you, and glue them on your mini book. This is our new favorite ink pad - Ranger Archival Ink - Jet Black. Did you know that you can colorize your paper with all types of ink pads? Of course the Tim Holtz Distress Inks are the favorite choice, and we love them too, but if you find a color that you love, give it a try, it will work too. Stamp the Skull rubber stamp on orange, cut it out, and place on your mini book.
Uh-oh! I forgot to tell you about the ribbon ties. Before you cover the book with paper, cut 2 pieces of ribbon about 12" long. Don't be chintzy with the ribbon because you are going to tie the 2 pieces of ribbon in a small bow. Glue the ribbon to the front of the cover about 1 inch from the outside edge. Do the same with the back cover. Then you can cover the mini book with your papers.
Last, but not least, add black buttons for eyes, and spell out a favorite word with these. - be true - Chris and Sharon
