We had a great week-end! Friday started off with Christmas charm making in the studio. Any one who knows me is never surprised by the gee-gaws that I love to throw on things that I make. (in the art world this would be known as assemblage:)! When we are making stuff in the studio, there is usually a bunch of charms, ribbons, stamps, etc. scattered around on the table. When I reach for something like the leaping deer on the fun charm, sometimes Chris looks at me and says, You're going to put that on there? I always stay true and say Yep!
I love vintage-cute at Christmas!
These charms are the easiest thing in the world to make, just grab some images, or photos, punch out a circle, glue in, and add the magic-glos. Place the charms in a sunny spot for about 40 minutes and that is it!
Sat. was the Vintage Charm School Workshop and our good friend Lisa was one of the gals taking the workshop. I had forgot that she had been to Silver Bella. Silver Bella is a fabulous event put on every year by Teresa Mcfayden in Omaha Nebraska. We were one of the sponsers for the event, and are planning on being there next year. Anyway, Lisa filled us in on all of the details and raved about everything-in an over the top good way!
Sunday was one of those shopping days that we love! I picked Chris up around 9 a.m. and we headed straight to Starbucks. Then a-shopping we would go! We shopped the small shops around town, the big stores around town, and everything in between. I pulled into my driveway around 9 p.m.
Loved every second of it!
We are totally ready for another week of Christmas making in the studio, and hope that all of you are enjoying this holiday season as much as we are!
If you are looking for holiday making inspiration come on over to the store, and we will show you how to make everything in sight, and then some!
