So yesterday Chris and I got up and out earlier than usual and headed over to the studio-something we rarely do on Sunday because Sunday is "stay at home day." But we still have a lot of loose ends to tie up before we leave for Stampaway .
Finally got the suitcase finished that has been hanging around in the basement for a month or so.
Turned out pretty fun too!
I painted it with the new Behr Paint that is a primer and paint all in one. Works great! Especially if you just slosh it on like I do and don't worry much about the drips here and there. I tore out the fabric on the inside of the suitcase, and lined it with dictionary paper. Be careful not to use too much glue, or everything buckles up-not pretty. Added a strip of old trellis that had been hiding in a corner of the basement, rubber stamped-with our word and domino stamps-some craft sticks and attached them to the baskets that we will fill with some of our stamps at the convention.
too much information?
Of course we will have the fabulous tags that Chris has been stamping with our new tru-colours ink pads (they are due in tomorrow) and rubber stamps (due in no later than Wed.) clipped to the trellis.

Always something new and creative going on!

p.s. forgot to mention the little vignette is a photo of some vintage stuff we have in our studio.

Love the stamped craft sticks and can hardly wait for Stampaway to see your booth! I'll be looking for that suitcase too! You 2 are so inspiring!
