Vintaged Beauties Workshop

Today we are teaching the Vintaged Beauties Workshop at the store.  Love mixing up the media...today we will paint. collage. stitch. talk. eat. drink. and talk some more.  Most of you know the store will be closed next week while we take a little vacation.  Our plans include a little on the road  flea marketing...Chris will be the scout while I do the driving...mostly we will be on the lookout for grungy type stuff for our workshops and good food!  New papers. charms. rubber stamps will greet us on our return Monday July 7th...will take a few photos and post throughout the week...xo..Chris and Sharon

Nature Walk Workshop

Assemble a natural wood shadow box with pressed woodland ferns, pods, feathers, twigs, vintage papers, photos, tags, and more!  Learn how to stain and paint a shadow box and preserve your woodland collection in bees wax.  Watch for small woodland treasures gathered on your walks or in your very own back yard to incorporate into this  Nature Walk  Bees Wax Assemblage Shadow Box.  Workshop with us...Learn. Nature Walk Bees Wax Shadow BoxWorkshop @ Red Lead

We started our day bright and early working on the Nature Walk Beeswax Shadow Box.  The sweet scent of beeswax was in the air at the store all day yesterday as we dipped and brushed the wax on just about everything you can imagine.  Love that  bees wax! We hope to have the shadow box complete today and a photo on the website tomorrow...working away at the new workshop samples so we can relax next week on our  vacation!  You can sign up for the Nature Walk Beeswax Shadow Box right here!
